Assistant Coach: Ryan Weems-1st Year
Ryan enters his 1st season as an assistant coach for Karen Blair. Ryan was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and his parents were both in the service so he was lucky enough to have been able to travel across the world during his life. Ryan’s love for the game started around age seven and with all his hard work he was able to make the varsity team as a freshman at Steven Decator High school in Sigonella Sicily. Ryan spent three and half years in Italy before moving back to the states. After moving to Washington, he found out about AAU sports and quickly got involved in coaching and training with the Everett Sureshots. He also coached and trained with Emerald City Basketball Academy under Jasen Baskett and Washington State University women’s assistant coach Mo Hines for the past two years.
